Once a month the CGDA hosts a game developer meetup featuring local, national and international guest speakers.
Come along, everyone is welcome, just RSVP to the next meetup.

Every few months we run public play testing events where local game developers can get feedback on their early prototypes or in-development games.
We also have a selection of released games on hand to showcase our local game dev talent.

During the year there are several 48 hour game jam events that we run or are involved with where pre-made or random teams get two days to create a game around the supplied theme.

Our advocacy efforts involve working with local government, education and industry partners, as well as collaborating with the NZGDA in their efforts and events. We also liaise with other Screen Sector partners to ensure that game development is included in wider discussions and policy decisions.
